The dock end of Summer Street
Look for the sawtooth roofline and the painted grade stencil on the brick. The roller door stays shut; the door you want is the smaller one to its left, under the light.
There is gravel parking behind the building for about twenty cars, and the street itself is free after six.
Coming in on foot from the middle of town takes about twelve minutes, all of it flat, and the last stretch is well lit.
By car
Gravel yard behind the shed, twenty spaces, no charge.
On foot
Twelve minutes from the town centre, flat the whole way.
By bike
Rail on the dock, under the camera and the light.
Bookings
- How late can I book for tonight?
- Up to 7pm, and later than that only if you catch us at a quiet moment.
- Do you take a deposit?
- Never. A phone call books it and a phone call cancels it.
- Can I book a bench and a table?
- Yes — say both when you ring so the kitchen and the floor know.
- Big group?
- Up to fourteen with a fortnight's notice, and we will put you on the two held benches.
